This is excellent bait (clamps on like an ample-nosed Scotsman on a penny), OK....
In the USA! USA! The power-elite are going to find out that while you can hire him for a time, you can't purchase a rough man's loyalty. Eventually those rough men look you over and ask "Hey there fat, florid, out-of-shape rich guy... How much money DO you have, anyway?"
It's at that point the unforeseen consequences become seen and you get a Mr. and Mrs. Ceaușescu photo-op.
Which proves the point: if the drunk miners are busy assaulting the factory workers, and the latter are busy defending themselves, Mr. and Mrs. Ceausescu can sleep well.
The last thing the 1% wants is a united 99%. Romania in turmoil can be a feature, if Romania in peace is a threat to the elite.
BTW this is the reason why I dismiss the monarchist argument that a hereditary owner would take better care of his lands and people. The king might prefer turmoil below to stay in power. There's plenty of historical precedent for this, even the French Revolution kept Louis around for a while.
BLM showed up in my 'hood, even had a pallet of bricks delivered. Everybody came out to greet them with guns. They marched down the main st. one time, then went home. They haven't been back since.
This happened more places than you can imagine.
If the lumpenprolitariat & petit bourgeoise in the USSA are armed, know who the enemy is, and show up (this happened), then Mr. & Mrs. C have a big problem if things start to get difficult for the former.
They know this, and that's why you aren't seeing repeat riots in states/cities with close races.
I could be wrong, but it's not looking that way at this moment. If I misunderstand you please clarify.
The consequences of this dynamic writ large is hilarious.
I invite everyone to add takes to it.

That's an optimistic view.
All those riots the US had 2 years ago featured a multitude of riff-raff. They never once went against the elite.
They tried for a riot where I live and all the working-class locals showed up Rooftop Korean style and it didn't happen.
As usual, CIAmediaINC doesn't present anything close to reality.
